Craftsmanship
Handcrafted and hand-wrapped in Lebanon, each soap carries the discipline of traditional soap making and the touch of local artisans.
Made by hand
Every piece moves through a careful process of mixing, cutting, drying, finishing and wrapping before it reaches the ritual of gifting or bathing.
Craft is not decoration here. It is the patience, precision and human touch behind the finished object.
The tradition of soap making dates back to the 8th century, when the first ever soap was born in Aleppo, Syria. The process starts with the hand-mixing of ingredients. Once the mixture cools, it is cut into individual cubes that are then stacked, left to air dry and age.
After two years of artisanal development and research, our soap is delicately crafted fusing old traditional methods- including air-drying the soap- along with modern machineries; milling the soap base five times which allow us to create the finest soap base.
At Senteurs d'Orient we believe that fine craftsmanship elevates the bathing experience to unprecedented indulgence and well-being.
